Biblical studies have concentrated upon the rational content of the biblical textual content; even when using rhetorical strategies, they have just about ignored the affective dimension in the biblical argument. Rhetoricians have demonstrated that effective rhetoric consists of affective argumentation, and recent studies have shown the role from th
